If you're a blogger, let me start by expressing how much I respect what you do. Yeah, I just recently started to do this blogging thing thinking that I could definitely fit writing, scheduling and promoting blog posts into my already busy schedule without having to sacrifice much. I mean, to my defense, I thought that if I already had the knowledge, the rest would just take a couple of hours each week to write, organize and get all my posts out into the interwebs...HA! Not! I was in for a treat after just one week of blogging and realizing that a couple of hours a week wasn't going to cut it. I quickly realized that blogging shouldn't be treated as an afterthought when you're writing about something you care about so deeply. In my case photography, in your case it could be cooking, fashion, a hobby or a lifestyle. I already knew blogging was tough, but never really understood just how tough. And even though I think my posts are being read by just one person out there, I have really started to enjoy that sense of accomplishment every time I publish a post.
Okay, enough about my struggles and let's talk about how I can help you take pictures for your blog. A few weeks ago, I teamed up with Courtney from Courtneyfashionista.com and Angela from Headtotoechicblog.com to test-drive a blogger photography mini-session. The results? We were able to get a LOT of great pictures taken in a very SHORT period of time. This is great for you because you can plan content ahead of time and you get to make the most out of my time scheduled, while I am working non-stop during the sessions and getting as many pictures as I possibly can. I really enjoyed the fast-paced sessions for this purpose, since sometimes all we want is just 5-10 great images of each look, and don't want to have to hire a photographer for just that.
So, I'm now Offering Photography Mini-Sessions for North Carolina Bloggers!
I loved this idea so much, that I've decided to offer this to all bloggers in North Carolina: Greensboro, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Winston-Salem and everywhere in between. If you have a blog and want outstanding images for any or all of your upcoming posts, be sure to read the details at the bottom of this page and consider this service as a great alternative to make the most out of a professional photography session.
Mini-Sessions: The Details
Essentially, you'll need to plan your posts ahead of time. For the examples shown below, Courtney chose 5 different outfits that she was going to feature in her blog and made sure to bring them along. We then selected a location, and met up with Angela as well, who also had 5 different looks. Once we got to the place we had already agreed upon, we immediately started shooting and got into a very nice rotation where I was taking pictures non-stop until the end of the shoot. There is a minimum of 2 bloggers per session, and 5 looks or "shoots" per blogger. If the requirements are met, you'll then select your favorite images (with a limit of 10) and only pay $10 per outfit photographed. If you want more details or are interested in planning a mini-session with another blogger, please get in touch with me using this contact form. You can also find me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. I know this sounds complicated, but trust me, it's totally simple and it saves you a lot of money when getting professional images. I can't wait to hear from you!
